Everything you need to know about using DataJam Pulse Reports
DataJam Pulse Reports delivers privacy-compliant, real-time audience analytics for your out-of-home advertising locations. Using JamBox impression counters, you get actual visitor countsβnot estimatesβso you can prove ROI and optimize your OOH campaigns with confidence.
Core Principles: Privacy, Accuracy, Relevancy
Your Profile stores your personal settings and preferences. The system remembers your preferred views, tracks your activity, and personalizes your experience across sessions.
The system automatically remembers:
Your profile data is stored securely and is only visible to you and DataJam administrators. We never share your personal information with third parties.
Location names are automatically fetched from your devices. If you see device numbers instead of names, ask your administrator to set location references.
Simply click any location in the sidebar under "Your Projects". The report will load instantly in the main content area.
The Top Locations feature ranks all your OOH advertising sites by total impressions, helping you identify your highest-performing assets and optimize media spend allocation.
Context Data enriches your reports with external factors that affect footfall: weather conditions, public holidays, sports events, local demographics, and economic indicators. Understanding context helps explain why your numbers look the way they do.
When viewing an "All Devices" report, context data is based on the first device's location. Look for:
Match days near stadiums can boost footfall by 40%+. Context badges help explain these spikes to clients.
Ask Pulse is your AI assistant powered by Claude. Ask questions about your data in natural language and get insights, explanations, and predictions.
Sales Intelligence provides pitch-ready stats and visualizations designed for client presentations and sales conversations. Access it from the Sales Intelligence tab in any Location Report.
Enter a custom CPM (cost per thousand impressions) to calculate estimated media value. Regional defaults apply: UK uses GBP (Β£4-12.50), US uses USD ($5-15). Values project to weekly, monthly, and annual estimates.
Click Map Views in the sidebar, then select a project. Six geographic analysis views are available.
In Interactive Map view, use POI Search to find nearby points of interest:
Use the dropdown in the map header to filter by project. This filters cached data without re-fetching from the API.
Map Views use a shared Mapbox instance for 90% cost reduction. All six views share the same map engine.
A: Data is fetched in real-time when you load a report. Click the location again to refresh.
A: As far back as your devices have been collecting data. Use custom date ranges to access historical data.
A: Location names must be set in the DataJam admin portal. Contact your administrator.
A: This fetches combined data for all locations in the selected project, giving aggregate metrics.
A: There's no hard limit, but for best performance keep active locations under 20.
